The high-gloss enamel paint on its outside is excellent as well. One can tell that the paint will not fade for decades to come, if ever. It has two silvery horizontal bands around it with ornate flowers crafted into them. These bands add to the elegance of the urn.
I purchased the urn to place a beloved veteran’s ashes in respectfully. I cannot overemphasize how important my urn choice was. It made a difficult part of my life a bit easier to handle. This is simply a magnificent work of art and a loving tribute for a soldier and anyone who simply loves America. The imagery is so pristine and the mountain range continues on the sides so that the design is all the way around with the silver complimenting it. The teardrop shape is unique to urns and aids in giving the effect of the eagle being high in the air while proudly draping the American Flag. This is a really beautiful urn and is highly recommended.
